At New York International Designers & Fashion Week, International Designers Fashion Collective (GFC)’s Global Fashion Collective III show impressed the audience with its designers’ fall 2023 collections. Throughout the show, designers from Japan, Indonesia, Mozambique, Mexico, China, France, Korea, and China impressed the audience with their creativity and diversity.

Hengki Kawilarang is a fashion designer from Jakarta, Indonesia. He started his career in 2001 with a line of glamorous, feminine designs that always make every woman feel like a “diva” in every way. His design is one of a kind because it is filled with glamorous elements like crystals, feathers, and something shiny.
The collection by Lisa Ju celebrates and emphasizes women’s curves. Enter a fantasy world filled with 12 couture pieces from the upcoming collection, which will be displayed and titled: Rejouissances Renceum Sundanese for “sparkling” and French for “festivals,” “réjouissances” She is combining her extensive love of French couture designs with her Bandung-based upbringing.
This time, she appealed to an international audience by incorporating Indonesian culture back to the roots, Lisa explained. She feels fortunate to have been influenced by a lot of different points of view growing up in Indonesia, which has so many different cultures, so many different textiles, crafts, and arts, yet a combination of original indigenous tradition and multiple modern foreign influences — that shaped me her a designer.

Additionally, each gown underscores her unique ability to tap into Indonesia’s rich cultural heritage.
The stunning formal evening wear collection by Taussy Daniel included dresses in a variety of colors, from seafoam and chartreuse to more conventional hues, as well as wearable art and statement pieces.
