The Best UK Honeymoons Despite the return of international travel, many newlywed couples are still opting for UK honeymoons.

Despite the return of international travel, many newlywed couples continue to choose staycation honeymoons. Hitched, a wedding website, says that in 2022, 12% of people went on their honeymoon right here in the UK, and 24% chose an adventure trip like hiking or outdoor fun.
Hitched surveyed more than 2,400 newlywed couples about what they spent their money on, as the average wedding cost £18,400 last year. For 35% of those surveyed, city and sightseeing trips were also a popular honeymoon option. Another 4% of couples chose vineyard or brewery stays in addition to glamping experiences.
WonderDays’ experience day gifts buying patterns were supported by the survey results. During the year 2022, couples who purchased from the company were most likely to select UK short breaks, vineyard tasting tours, and glamping short breaks for two.
WonderDays’ digital marketing manager, Bronwen Jones, stated that they were very interested in the Hitched survey’s findings because they were so in line with what they had seen couples purchase for romantic experiences in the past few months. Staycations, whether they take place in pretty boutique hotels, luxurious glamping pods, or bustling cities, are all popular options with WonderDays customers. They also find that a lot of people choose our couples’ vineyard, brewery, and distillery tours.
However, more unusual experiences, such as a couples blacksmith forging day where you get to make a pair of personalized rings, axe throwing, or pottery making, also very much appeal to those who are looking for things to do together that are romantic Gaining experiences all together is a significant piece of any relationship and makes sense of why beginning wedded coexistence with something great to do has such an allure.
